This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit the Site and when optional analytics or advertising features are enabled.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use the Site.

Scope

This policy applies to information we collect when you:

  • browse the Site
  • manage cookie choices through the Site's Cookie Settings control
  • contact us through the contact form

Key points

  • The Site is an informational website. We do not provide user accounts or process payments.
  • We may process contact form submissions and server logs. If optional features are enabled, we may also process analytics data and advertising-related data.
  • We may use Google Analytics 4 for usage measurement only when it is configured and allowed by your choices and applicable law.
  • We may display Google AdSense or related advertising technology only when it is configured and allowed by your location, your choices, and applicable law.
  • The Site includes a Cookie Settings control in the footer so you can review or change optional analytics and advertising choices.
  • California residents may have additional rights and choices described below.

What data we collect

Information you provide to us

If you contact us through the Site, we may collect:

  • your name, if provided
  • your email address
  • your message content
  • technical metadata needed to deliver or manage the message, such as a timestamp

We use this information to respond to your inquiry and keep a record of our communications. Providing your name is optional. If you do not provide an email address or other usable contact information, we may not be able to respond.

Information collected automatically

When you access the Site, our hosting provider and security tooling may automatically log:

  • IP address
  • browser, device, and technical request information
  • pages requested and timestamps
  • referrer URL, if provided by your browser

We use these logs for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention, and operational monitoring.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use:

  • strictly necessary cookies and local storage for core site, locale preference, and consent functions
  • analytics cookies for usage measurement if analytics is enabled
  • advertising cookies and related technologies if advertising is enabled

For full details, including example cookie identifiers, typical expiries, and vendor disclosures, see our Cookies Policy: https://mincalendar.com/cookies/

Why we process data and legal bases

Where required, we rely on consent for non-essential cookies and related analytics or advertising activity. You can withdraw consent at any time through the Site's Cookie Settings control.

Responding to inquiries

  • Purpose: respond to messages sent through the contact form and maintain related correspondence records.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interests or, where applicable, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Legitimate interest: operating the Site and answering user inquiries.

Site security and operations

  • Purpose: detect abuse, secure the Site, maintain availability, and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Legal basis: legitimate interests.

Analytics

  • Purpose: understand traffic and usage patterns, such as page views, approximate location, and browser/device information.
  • Legal basis: consent, where required for analytics cookies.

This processing applies only if analytics is enabled.

Advertising

  • Purpose: display ads, measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and limit ad frequency.
  • Legal basis: consent, where required for advertising cookies, ad personalization, and related signals.

This processing applies only if advertising is enabled.

Depending on your location and settings, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or not shown. If we serve personalized ads in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified CMP integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), or another implementation accepted by Google at that time.

Analytics providers, if enabled

If we enable analytics providers such as Google Analytics 4 ("GA4") or Ahrefs Web Analytics, they may collect and process information such as:

  • page views and engagement events
  • approximate geolocation
  • device and browser information
  • cookie identifiers, where allowed

GA4 uses first-party cookies, such as _ga and _ga_<container-id>, only when analytics consent is granted where required. We configure GA4 to respect consent choices.

Ahrefs Web Analytics may process page-view and browser metadata through its analytics script when analytics is enabled. We load the Ahrefs analytics script only through our consent layer.

For EU-based traffic, Google states that GA4 does not log or store IP addresses and uses IP-address data only to derive coarse geolocation data before discarding it.

Google AdSense and third-party advertising, if enabled

If we display ads using Google AdSense or related advertising technologies, the following disclosures apply:

  • Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this Site or other websites.
  • Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads to users based on visits to this Site and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings: https://www.google.com/settings/ads

You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' personalized advertising cookies through: https://www.aboutads.info/

Depending on your consent choices and location, ads may be personalized, non-personalized, limited, or not shown. Where required, our CMP or other consent tooling will provide a vendor list or provider disclosures through the consent interface.

Sharing and disclosure

We may share data:

  • with service providers, including hosting, security, and message delivery providers, that process data on our behalf only as needed to operate the Site
  • with Google or Ahrefs as analytics providers, and with Google as an advertising provider, if those features are enabled
  • where disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect the security, rights, or integrity of the Site

We do not sell personal information for money.

If you are a California resident, some advertising-related disclosures may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law. See "California privacy notice" below.

International data transfers

Our service providers, including Google where relevant features are enabled, may process data on servers located outside your country of residence. Where required, transfers are protected using appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

Where available, we may also rely on an adequacy decision, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework for participating organizations. You can contact us through the Site if you want more information about applicable transfer safeguards.

Data retention

We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

  • Contact form messages: up to 12 months, unless a longer retention period is required for legal claims or security reasons.
  • Server logs: up to 90 days before deletion by our hosting or security providers.
  • GA4 data: retained for the period configured in our GA4 property settings, if GA4 is enabled.
  • Advertising-related data and cookie storage periods: vary by provider, cookie, and region. See the Cookies Policy for current examples.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal data, such as access controls and encryption in transit where appropriate. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Personal data breaches

If we become aware of a personal data breach, we will assess it and provide notifications to supervisory authorities and affected individuals when required by applicable law.

Your rights and choices (EEA/UK/Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you may have the right to:

  • request access to your personal data
  • request correction of inaccurate personal data
  • request deletion of your personal data in certain cases
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • request restriction of processing in certain cases
  • request data portability in certain cases
  • withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent, without affecting earlier processing

To exercise these rights, use https://mincalendar.com/contact. We may need to verify your request. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.

Automated decision-making

We do not use automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you for the purposes of Article 22 GDPR. Advertising technology providers may use automated systems to select which ads to show, depending on your consent and settings.

Children

The Site is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

California privacy notice

This section applies only to California residents and only to the extent the California Consumer Privacy Act ("CCPA"), as amended by the CPRA, applies to us.

Categories of personal information we collect may include:

  • identifiers, such as IP address, online identifiers, and cookie IDs
  • internet or other electronic network activity, such as pages viewed and interactions
  • advertising and measurement signals, to the extent created by advertising technology when enabled
  • contact information and message content submitted through the contact form

Purposes: operating the Site, analytics where permitted, advertising depending on settings and choices, security, and responding to inquiries.

Retention: see "Data retention" above.

We do not sell personal information for money.

We may "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising if we enable ad personalization or similar ad-tech disclosures.

Your choices:

  • Right to opt out of sale/sharing, if applicable: use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link or equivalent control made available on the Site.
  • Opt-out preference signals: if applicable, we treat Global Privacy Control as an advertising opt-out signal for the browser or device where it is received.
  • Requests to know, delete, or correct: contact us through https://mincalendar.com/contact.
  • Authorized agent: you may designate an authorized agent to submit certain requests on your behalf where permitted by law.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available under California law.
